THERAPY DOG TEAMS

Assistance Dogs Northwest reaches hundreds of people in the community each week through a variety of programs designed to benefit, support and enhance the lives of people with physical and developmental disabilities in our community.

Therapy Team Program

Assistance Dogs Northwest Therapy Dog Teams visit residents and patients at local area nursing homes, hospitals and rehab facilities on a weekly basis. These special teams bring joy and unconditional love to the people they visit as well as enhance their physical and emotional well being.

Please note, we are unable to provide one-time or regular visits to an individual in their home or in-patient facility. Please contact your local Pet Therapy group to inquire about these individual visits.

If you meet our requirements, a member of our Community Outreach staff will reach out for scheduling.
