Raise a Puppy, Change a Life!
Become a Volunteer Puppy Raiser!
Puppy Raisers provide a loving home and teach the puppy basic obedience cues. It is an 8 - 10 month commitment and includes socializing the puppy in a variety of situations. No prior dog training experience is needed, just a willingness to care for and train the puppy during its first year!

Cost
ADNW provides a starter supply of basic items (leash, collar, bowls, grooming items, crate, toys, etc). Puppy raisers are responsible for purchasing puppy food and some additional supplies. All veterinary expenses are covered by ADNW.
Requirements

Fenced-in yard preferred

Puppy must accompany their raiser on daily outings (work, school, events)

Puppy raisers must attend classes twice a month (zoom or in person) and complete daily training sessions

Note: We are currently looking for puppy raisers in the northwest. Applicants will be screened and a Home Interview will be conducted.
